4 seems to be a good choice for the number of clusters


Lets now look at the interaction between different variables and how clusters are placed in the 2 D space. Clusters are colour coded




































Matches & Innings almost linear with a correlation of 1 ie they got to bat in almost every match they played. Sort of expected since most of them are Top to Middle order batsmen

Runs in combination with Matches, Innings , NO , & HS shows clustering.

Difficult to distinguish clusters based on NO & HS; NO & Inns; NO & Mat


Lets plot the Discriminant coordinates plot and check out how the clusters are placed spatially.





















































And lastly, lets append the cluster numbers to the dataset to see how close are we to intuition about how close these batsmen are to each other
